We left the MTC Monday morning  May, 29 with 18 missionaries.  Here us with the Wyatts and Hunters.  The bus driver was a Greek & Hebrew scholar and I had all kinds of questions that he answered.  Sure glad we were sitting on the front row.  I learned that I wasn't dreaming that I had heard that Sariah & Ishmael from the Book of Mormon were most likely siblings.  He said it was in the Ensign 1982 which was about the time I remember reading that.  Now I just need to find quich month.

 

Our first leg of the flight took us to Chicago where we enjoyed the afternoon sight seeing in that city with Becky & Kent.  Thanks for making that 6 hour stop over much more interesting?  We actually ended up with over 7hours as the flight out was late.

Rand and I shared three seats on our leg to London.  I don't think I could have survived the claustrophobia if we'd been three for three.  My ankles were swollen after the 8 hours.  We were suppose to get up and walk around every couple hours but I must say I slept (kind of) and didn't do what they suggested.   

The Wyatts wanted to see London with us and with 9 hours we thought we get to do a Big Bus Tour.  Everything took longer than expected which was most frustrating.  In the end we got a picture of Big Ben and also Westminster Abbey from a distance but my dream of "changing of the guard" will have to wait till the next trip.  We didn't even lay our eyes on Buckingham Palace.
