This sign is on the main road to Jinja.  The Jinja Branch chapel is to the right.  It is very neat and beautiful.  Last Sunday there were five baptisms and it was pouring rain outside.  The floor turned a lovely red before everyone went home and quite tracking dirt every where.

This is the Jinja Branch Chapel.  Last Sunday there were only two vehicles in the parking lot.  Ours and one other.
Everyone else either walks or hires a boda  (Motor cycle) to drive them here.
Check out Rand is driving on the wrong side of vehicle
(right side for Uganda)
This is Juliana Nyangoma.  She hopes to become a public administrator.  She is filling out her application for PEF.  Rand is working at another computer and Roger, the District Clerk is at the last computer
Rand is meeting with Bugembe's Branch President to get an application for the Women over 31 Endowment.
We administer this program but it is not under Perpetual Education.  It is a Relief Society Endowment that gives the very poor women money to advance their education.

This is the Relief Society room where the sisters meet for their
meeting. This room also doubles for holding baptism
behind the double doors every Sunday.

The other end of the Relief Society doubles for the kitchen.
Quite versatile wouldn't you say?
